What is a feedback board?

A feedback board is a public or private space where users submit product ideas and vote on existing ones, giving a team a ranked, ongoing view of what their audience wants.

A feedback board differs from a support inbox or a suggestion box in one key way: submissions are visible to other users, who can vote or comment on them instead of submitting a duplicate. That visibility is what turns scattered one-off requests into a ranked signal — the board shows what's actually in demand, not just what's been asked most recently.

Boards can be public (open to anyone, often embedded in a product or linked from a website) or private (limited to logged-in customers, a beta group, or an internal team). The right choice depends on whether you want the transparency of a public board — which also signals to prospects that you listen — or the focus of a private one.

How Feevox handles this

Every Feevox board supports anonymous or signed-in submissions with one vote per user or IP, can be public or private, and embeds directly into your product via a widget so customers never have to leave to give feedback.
