Sleekplan Alternative: Unlimited Voters vs a User Cap

Sleekplan's free Indie plan is real, but it caps tracked users even at $0. Here's how that compares to Feevox's unlimited-voter free tier.

Sleekplan is one of the more budget-conscious tools in this category, and unlike some competitors it does have a genuine free tier — the Indie plan, $0, single admin, with a board, roadmap, and changelog behind one widget, plus built-in NPS/CSAT surveys most rivals charge extra for. Paid tiers run roughly $13/month (Starter) to $38/month (Business, billed yearly). The catch worth checking closely: Sleekplan's free and Starter tiers cap tracked users — the exact number varies by source and by when you check, so confirm the current limit on sleekplan.com/pricing before you commit. (All vendor numbers here are as of this writing.)

TL;DR

Sleekplan's free tier is real, and its built-in NPS/CSAT surveys are a genuine feature edge. The tradeoff is a tracked-user cap on that free tier — Feevox's free plan has none.

Where the real difference is

Sleekplan's Jira integration and built-in NPS/CSAT surveys are real advantages if either of those is on your must-have list — Feevox doesn't do surveys, and syncs with ClickUp rather than Jira today. Worth being upfront about that.

The pricing structure is where they diverge from their own positioning, though. Sleekplan markets itself on affordability, but tying its free and entry tiers to a tracked-user count means a board that goes viral or just grows past the cap forces an upgrade — the exact dynamic Feevox is built to avoid (see what "no tracked-user tax" actually means for why this matters more than it looks). Every Feevox plan, including Free, has unlimited voters, so a launch spike never triggers a surprise bill or a locked-out board.

If you're running a public board that might get shared widely — a Show HN post, a Reddit thread, a Product Hunt launch — that's the scenario where a voter cap bites hardest, usually right when the board is most useful.

Who should switch

If you want NPS/CSAT surveys bundled in and your voter volume is predictable and low, Sleekplan's free tier may genuinely fit. If there's any chance your board sees a traffic spike, or you just don't want to think about a user cap on a free plan, Feevox removes that variable entirely.
